ena Development Consultants had the pleasure of participating in Beyond Expo 2025, which took place for the first time in Athens, from Thursday, April 3 to Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the Metropolitan Expo exhibition center.
Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the actions and capabilities of #DigiAgriFood and EIT Food, which specializes in cutting-edge areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Digital Skills, High-Performance Computing, Digital Transformation, and Interoperability, directly supporting the missions of the Digital Europe 2021-2027 Program.
Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the activities and opportunities of #DigiAgriFood and EIT Food, which specializes in cutting-edge fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Digital Skills, High-Performance Computing, Digital Transformation, and Interoperability, and directly supports the missions of the Digital Europe Program 2021-2027.
Throughout the exhibition, representatives of the hub presented its strategies and initiatives for supporting the digital and green transformation of agrifood, through innovative actions aimed at SMEs, public authorities, and citizens.
Σημαντική στιγμή αποτέλεσε η παρουσίαση του Startup Guide για ελληνικές AgTech & FoodTech επιχειρήσεις από τη Reframe.food, με την υποστήριξη του Κόμβου, καθώς και η εκδήλωση με θέμα τα έξυπνα θερμοκήπια, στην οποία συμμετείχαν το Perrotis College – Αμερικανική Γεωργική Σχολή, η Cisco και η Green Projects. Ο Ιωάννης Αμαραντίδης, Senior Project Manager του #DigiAgriFood, παρουσίασε τις δράσεις του Κόμβου και ανέδειξε τον ρόλο της τεχνολογίας ως καταλύτη βιώσιμης ανάπτυξης.
Επιπλέον, η Παρασκευή Σώμαλου, Υποψήφια Διδάκτωρ του Τμήματος Μοριακής Βιολογίας και Γενετικής του Δημοκριτείου Πανεπιστημίου Θράκης & εκπροσώπου του EIT Food Hub Greece, παρουσίασε το έργο του EIT Food, της μεγαλύτερης και πιο δυναμικής κοινότητας γνώσης και καινοτομίας στον τομέα των τροφίμων, η οποία έχει ως αποστολή τον μετασχηματισμό του τρόπου με τον οποίο παράγονται, διανέμονται και καταναλώνονται τα τρόφιμα, με σκοπό την αύξηση της αξίας τους για την Ευρωπαϊκή κοινότητα.
This year’s Beyond Expo focused on Artificial Intelligence, showcasing it not only as a technological tool but also as a matter of institutional governance and public policy. It also served as a space for knowledge exchange, networking, and inspiration, with thousands of visitors, investors, startups, and international organizations coming together in a dynamic collaborative environment.
Beyond Expo 2025 was organized by Be-Best, HELEXPO, and Industry Disruptors Game Changers (IDGC), with co-organizers the Ministry of Digital Governance, the Region of Attica, the Central Union of Municipalities of Greece (KEDE), and the Municipality of Athens, to whom we express our heartfelt thanks for the excellent organization and hospitality.
