eMT cluster, the first collaborative Innovation & Technology formation in the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Region, and its supporting organization, ena Development Consultants, successfully completed the cycle of informational events on 'Digital Transformation of Businesses in Eastern Macedonia and Thrace'.
The goal of the events was to inform and present digital transformation solutions for businesses in the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace region.
The cycle included 4 events held in Drama on June 1, Komotini on June 16, Kavala on June 22, and concluding in Xanthi on July 1, with a prior information day in Alexandroupolis, in December. At the end of each event, attendees had the opportunity to discuss specific issues related to the digital transformation of their businesses.
Support for these events came from the local chambers, specifically the Drama Chamber, the Professional & Craft Chamber of Rodopi, the Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Rodopi, the Kavala Chamber, and the Xanthi Chamber. These chambers had the opportunity to present their developmental initiatives for enhancing entrepreneurship and competitiveness.
Additionally, through the eMT cluster events, innovation bodies like the Entrepreneurship Support Structure, the Business Accelerator Lab40, the Entrepreneurship Structure LightHub, the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Support Structure Kick-iT, and the Thinc Thrace Incubator of Democritus University of Thrace presented their actions and developmental roles to the business community.
14 out of the 18 advanced technology solution companies that make up the eMT cluster participated in the events (Lioncode, Act4Energy, SEEMS, FM Enterprises, Explicit, APT, OTS, Athens Technology Center, GeoSense, Genet Advertising – ZZ.DOT, MyIP net – works, Vertitech, Alpha Plan Consultants, Ten06), presenting the digital transformation solutions they currently offer, as well as the innovations they are developing within the eMT cluster’s technology ecosystem.
Through these events and the participation of regional development bodies, the eMT cluster’s vision to become a high-class hub of technological excellence, collaboration, and a reference point for innovation that will promote the development of new technologies, attract scientists, and contribute practically to increasing the GDP of the region and the country has been further reinforced.
The development initiatives of the eMT cluster extend beyond the cycle of informational events as it has already begun connecting with organizations from other areas of Greece to transfer knowledge and foster closer relationships with professional and financial organizations that will concern all sectors of the economy of the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Region.
ena Development Consultants, the Supporting Organization of the eMT cluster, demonstrating its role as a development hub in the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Region, presented to the audience of all the events the available funding tools that can be utilized by businesses to support innovation and entrepreneurship.
