In this context, the ena Development Consultants team visited Magnetic Xanthi S.A.’s diagnostic center on 12 Apostolon Street in October, which has been established as the month for disease prevention and awareness. There, they met and spoke with the team behind the company’s successful journey. The Scientific Director, Xenofon Dimitriadis; the President, Olympia Dimitriadou; the Vice President, Nikolaos Nikolaidis; Radiologist Dr. Konstantina Dimitriadou; and Radiologist Dr. Stefanos Stefanidis shared their own success story and informed us about their modern diagnostic services and their commitment to prevention, with a focus on women’s health.

Mr. Xenofon Dimitriadis also emphasizes that preventive screenings save lives, especially for women over 40 years old without a family history of cancer, and even earlier for those with hereditary risk factors.

Through the program “Upgrade of very small and small enterprises for the development of their capabilities in new markets” of EPAnEK 2014-2020, Magnitiki Xanthis S.A. received a 50% subsidy for the purchase and installation of a new CT scanner, which enhances its diagnostic capabilities. The investment also included aesthetic interventions in the building facilities, aiming to upgrade the company’s facade, the installation of a complete air conditioning system, and the construction of lead shielding in a 35 sq.m. area to ensure safety during examinations involving radiation.
Additionally, the company proceeded with the procurement of a new digital mammography machine, also supported by a 50% subsidy, while simultaneously strengthening its human resources by hiring new staff, providing even better service to its patients.
