The company KAPA DYO was established in 2019, is based in Xanthi, and operates in graphic design as well as the trade of advertising and business products. The business manager, Mr. Benediktos Roussos, with his 20 years of experience, together with his team, covers every advertising need of the companies that trust them, working with dedication and consistency. Their goal is to ensure and satisfy their clients by providing services and products that fully meet their requirements.
As Mr. Roussos himself confided to us, the creation of an online store for KAPA DYO had been part of his plans since the company’s founding, but it was the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic and the lockdowns that made establishing a comprehensive online presence an urgent necessity.

Amid the advance of the coronavirus pandemic, while retail trade alternated between being closed and open with only limited operation (click-away, restricted access to physical store spaces, limited opening hours, etc.), business owners were seeking alternative ways for the survival of their stores.
The ESPA “e-Retail” action came at exactly the right time, aiming to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the retail sector. Its objective was to subsidize the development, upgrade, and management of e-shops, in order to help businesses maintain operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. Beyond immediate relief, the initiative also promoted the adoption of digital technologies, encouraged digital transformation, and helped reduce overcrowding in physical store locations.
"Let's take a look at some information about the e-liániko initiative and ena Development Consultants."
The e-Retail initiative provided grants to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the retail sector to upgrade their online stores (e-shops). Through this program, eligible businesses were subsidized for the creation or upgrade of their e-shop, the development and/or certification of their digital security policy, and the procurement of essential technological equipment to support their e-commerce infrastructure.
In 2021, 69% of Greek internet users aged 16 to 74 made at least one online purchase of products or services. A year earlier, in 2020, the corresponding percentage was 59%.*
A total of 17 investors (15 in the first and 2 in the second cycle) entrusted ena Development Consultants with the submission of their application files and the implementation of their investment plans, under the guidance of our company's experienced professionals.
Out of the above investors, 7 + 1 moved forward with the creation of their e-shops in collaboration with the team of ena Development Consultants and its technology partner, Ten06. Ten06 provides services and develops solutions aimed at the rapid and secure digital transformation of businesses. Its core focus areas are Tourism & Travel, Agrifood, and Retail Trade.
Finally, 5 + 1 investors chose ena Development Consultants for the procurement of the necessary equipment for their e-shop within the framework of the e-Retail (e-λιανικό) program.
The highest growth rates in e-commerce turnover in Europe for 2020 were recorded in Greece (77%).*
The opportunity to finance the company’s new e-shop through ESPA came at the perfect time, during a period of limited retail turnover due to the situation, while the cost of creating a professionally designed and secure website remained relatively high, Mr. Roussos told us.

From its online presence, KAPA DYO hopes to significantly expand its customer base, now having the ability to showcase its own creations as well as those of its partners beyond the geographical limits of its physical location.

Finally, Mr. Roussos also mentioned that the company’s future plans include continuously investing in innovative equipment to produce unique and original products that meet every need for personalized, promotional, and corporate gifts.
The submission and implementation of Mr. Roussos’ investment plan under the “e-λιανικό” action were undertaken by experienced secondary sector development consultants from the enateam, who have supported numerous ESPA program applications for businesses to date. The development and ongoing support of the new KAPA DYO e-shop were managed by Sofia Argyriadou, Web Developer, Marketing Specialist & IT Support at ena Development Consultants, bringing her extensive experience in IT projects and ESPA investment plans. Additionally, part of the e-shop development was outsourced to Ten06, a trusted partner of ena Development Consultants specializing in IT solutions development.
