The second cycle of free hands-on workshops titled “Direct Payments of the New CAP 2023–2027”, organized by ena Development Consultants, Partner and Innovation & Communication Mediator of #DigiAgriFood—the first European Digital Innovation Hub in the agri-food sector in Greece—was successfully completed.
During the sessions, farmers and livestock breeders from the broader Xanthi and Chrysoupoli regions received valuable insights from ena’s expert consultants on how to upgrade their agricultural operations. Special emphasis was placed on Conditionality and Redistributive Payments, Eco-Schemes, Coupled Support, and the new opportunities and prospects emerging for the primary sector through the CAP 2023–2027.
As part of the workshops, Dimitris Bardakidis (Co-Founder & AgriFood Expert), Maria Karatzoglou (Coordinator of CAP Advisory Services), and Salomi Palamida (CAP Development Consultant) from ena Development Consultants presented practical case studies and examples, listened to participants’ experiences, and engaged in meaningful discussion on issues that concern local producers.
The second workshop cycle included two sessions in Xanthi and one in Chrysoupoli, with over 100 farmers and livestock producers in attendance. Participants had the opportunity to interact with the ena Development Consultants team, engage in dialogue, ask questions, and receive answers to key challenges they face.
At the same time, these sessions served as a starting point for the active engagement of all stakeholders in the agricultural sector—offering them the chance to contribute to shaping its future through shared concerns and the emergence of new perspectives.
