The story of MD Food begins in 2002, when the two founders, Panagiotis Moschidis and Christos Dontsos, decided to join forces and acquire a small commercial business. Through hard work, careful planning, and a clear strategy they followed, their business grew rapidly from its very first years of operation. Today, MD Food employs more than 28 people, serves over 1,200 clients, and maintains a presence throughout the region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace. Its annual turnover consistently exceeds expectations for the area, while its reputation for the quality of its services remains consistently strong.<\/p>\n

With the guidance of the SME Competitiveness Division of ena Development Consultants \u2014 led by Evi Voivatopoulou, Coordinator of the Division\u2019s Consulting Services, and with the contribution of Liana Kavoura, Development Consultant of the Division \u2014 the company secured participation in the \u201cCompetitiveness Toolbox for Small and Very Small Enterprises\u201d program under the EPAnEK 2014\u20132020 initiative.<\/p>\n

In this context, MD Food is currently implementing the \u201cGreen Productive Investment for SMEs\u201d program, through which \u2014 with 40% funding \u2014 it will adopt even more advanced technologies and develop modern, high-standard infrastructure, aiming to provide excellent services to its customers.<\/p>\n

    The New Logistic Center: A Landmark Investment for the Region<\/h4>\n

    The largest investment to date by Panagiotis Moschidis and Christos Dontsos is expected to be the creation of a state-of-the-art Logistic Center, MD Logistics, which will become the largest logistics company in the entire region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace. This \u20ac3 million investment has already been approved under Development Law 4887\/2022 and will be subsidized at a rate of 70%.<\/p>\n

    The investment includes full expenses for building works, mechanical and other equipment, aiming to ensure the efficient operational performance of the facility.<\/p>\n

    The investment plan was drafted and will begin implementation in collaboration with the Business Development and Development Law Division of ena Development Consultants, which has provided specialized guidance and support at every stage to date.<\/p>\n

    The Logistic Center will serve the entire region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, strengthening the local economy and providing high value-added services. This is an investment expected to become a landmark for the logistics sector in the area, while at the same time establishing MD Logistics as a pioneer in modern supply chain solutions.<\/p>\n

    Social Responsibility and Sustainability<\/h4>\n

    The company also invests in the green economy, having installed photovoltaic systems and promoting the recycling of plastic and paper. It is additionally exploring the use of electric vehicles in the future, recognizing the importance of adopting environmentally friendly practices.<\/p>\n

    At the same time, MD Foods actively supports social, cultural, and athletic initiatives within the local community, giving back to the region that has supported its growth.<\/p>\n
