At ena Development Consultants, we are especially proud to be part of the tourism development on the emerald island of the North Aegean, Thasos. We support the implementation of the business visions of seven investors from Xanthi and Thasos in creating their own tourist accommodations on the island.\nBy leveraging the funding tools of the outgoing ESPA 2014-2020, and with the guidance of ena\u2019s experienced team, these new businesses successfully secured 50% funding of their total expenses through the action \u201cSupport for the Establishment and Operation of New Small and Medium-Sized Tourism Enterprises\u201d under the Operational Programme \u201cCompetitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation\u201d, ESPA 2014-2020.<\/div>\n

The subsidized expenses included construction works, procurement and installation of machinery and equipment, quality assurance systems, promotion and marketing, software, vehicles, and consulting services.<\/div>\n

The Marketing Department of ena Development Consultants, as part of the creation of a new Business Story, had the pleasure and honor of visiting the tourist accommodations The 8 Keys<\/strong><\/a>, owned by S. Menexes & Co. G.P., and speaking with Mr. Nikos, who works there. We got a small taste of the hospitality and services they offer, which we will try to convey to you. How did the idea for your new venture come about?<\/h4>\n
\n
Our family has been vacationing on the island for many years, and we have always enjoyed our holidays here. It is an exceptionally beautiful place, with greenery not found on any other Greek island. From the very first years we came here and saw the island\u2019s development, the idea of starting a business arose. Specifically, it was a dream of Grandpa Stavros and Grandma Angeliki, after whom the hotel is named, to do something for their grandchildren here\u2014something that was ultimately achieved with the creation of The Angeliki Boutique Hotel<\/div>\n

How did ena Development Consultants and the ESPA funding contribute to the realization of your project?<\/h4>\n
Our collaboration with ena was from the very beginning excellent and crucial for our participation in the ESPA program, which was an important factor for this venture to start. We do not know if we would have achieved this result today without the use of the program, as even the program\u2019s requirements guided us in one direction while giving us the ease to implement more than we initially aimed for<\/div>\n

What makes your business stand out?<\/h4>\n
It may sound like a clich\u00e9 answer, but the truth is that we truly love what we do. We all enjoy traveling, and each of us has a list of things we liked or missed from the accommodations we stayed at\u2014a list of Do\u2019s and Don\u2019ts that we discussed, studied, and committed to applying in our own hotel. Also, we got to know Thassos as visitors, we fell in love with it, and now we consider ourselves residents of the island. Now, we want to share this love for the island with our own guests, to show them all the reasons why it\u2019s worth coming and returning to this wonderful place<\/div>\n

Tell us a few words about your business.<\/h4>\n
The Angeliki Boutique Hotel is a 4-key rental room complex located in Skala Rachoniou, just 10 km from Limenas and less than 200 meters from the sea. In our modern and spacious (50 sqm) apartments, we offer not only a comfortable bed but also a fully equipped kitchen. On-site, we provide breakfast, and there is also an all-day pool and a caf\u00e9-bar for the relaxation of our guests.<\/div>\n

What are your future plans for your business?<\/h4>\n
